Scandal rocks Housing Scheme

Investment in housing schemes across Nigeria has become a nightmare to many Nigerians who have indicated their interests at owning properties in their various states, following the emergence of fraudulent schemes promoted by speculators.

These housing and property investment schemes have become the bane as many are now prey to the false and evil gimmicks of fraudsters.

One of the victims of these fraudulent housing and investment scheme, Prof. Walter Tete is presently crying out to the relevant authorities to come to his help and retrieve his hard earned money from the clutches of the Chief Executive Officer of ’Eagles Heights Investment and Housing Scheme, Mabel Monina who has, against her agreement to refund the eight million naira. This is in spite of collecting a huge 30% (N2.4m) of the total sum as withdrawal fee.

According to information available from the investor, Prof Tete, the lady in question has reneged on all agreements and has rushed to seek a restraining order from a court in Lagos, forestalling her arrest or prosecution.

How can we renege on agreements such that are supposedly binding? Prof Walter Tete had earlier on, in kind faith and belief in his God, sought intervention of close associates and even ran to the police in Lagos State, to help persuade Monica Monina of the Eagle Heights Housing and Investment Scheme but instead, she is hell bent on collecting the hard earned money of an innocent citizen of Nigeria.

Sources close to the issue say the Eagle Heights Investment and Housing Scheme CEO, Mabel Monina claims to have persons in the corridors of power and as such is untouchable and has vowed not to refund Walter Tete’s balance of #5.6m after he had forfeited the sum of #2.6m as penalty.

Investigations reveal that Mabel has even dragged a security organization to court for intervening in the issue between herself, Eagle Heights Investment and Housing Scheme and Prof. Walter Tete.

Will the government and relevant agencies allow hard working Nigerians to be fleeced of their hard earned monies by such scrupulous schemes?
